2025 Ford Escape

The 2025 Ford Escape is available in five trims. The Active trim has black beltline and upper window molding paired with body-color door handles and 17-inch Shadow Silver-painted aluminum wheels. Sporty-looking with an athletic profile, the ST-Line comes with 18-inch Rock Metallic-painted aluminum wheels, a distinctive black mesh grille, and a large single-wing spoiler. The ST-Line Select adds LED fog lamps and body-color heated mirrors for enhanced visibility, while the Platinum distinguishes itself with an LED light bar, chrome beltline molding, and LED fog lamps. The ST-Line Elite stands out with 19-inch machined-face Ebony-painted wheels, distinctive badging, and other premium elements, such as additional color choices not available on the lower trims.

The 2025 Escape has two capable engine options. The standard 1.5-liter EcoBoost I-3 engine generates 180 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, providing responsive power for everyday driving. For additional performance, the available 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine delivers 250 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 280 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission to optimize power delivery and efficiency.

The 2025 Escape's improved driving experience starts with the updated all-wheel-drive system, featuring an automatic disconnecting rear driveline that seamlessly adapts to changing road conditions. Four selectable drive modes (Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Normal) allow drivers to tailor vehicle response to their preferences and driving conditions. When properly equipped with the Class II Trailer Tow Package, the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.
