Trim Levels (Exterior)
The Base Bronco Sport comes with 17-inch wheels, roof rails, and LED headlights. It also has a rear liftgate with a flip-up window. Step up to the Big Bend for heated side exterior mirrors, tinted rear windows, and keyless ignition. The Outer Banks has 18-inch wheels and LED foglights, and the Black Diamond Off-Road Package adds 17-inch gloss gray alloy wheels, skid plates, and unique exterior graphics. A bump up to the Badlands gets you all-terrain tires, tow hooks, and skid plates.
Engine (Power)
The standard engine for the Bronco Sport is a 1.5-liter three-cylinder gas engine with 181 horsepower. The Badlands bumps up the power with a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that puts out 250 horsepower. Both powertrains use an eight-speed automatic transmission and come standard with all-wheel drive. The Badlands also gets steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters; it upgrades the cooling components and has a twin-clutch rear-drive system with a differential lock.
Performance
Drivers will appreciate the Bronco Sport's comfortable ride and enjoy its off-road capabilities. The base engine provides plenty of power for daily driving, while the turbo engine under the Badlands' hood packs extra punch. All trims also have Ford's G.O.A.T. terrain management system that will help the SUV tackle any terrain, making it up for an adventure when the pavement ends.
Interior
The Bronco Sport seats five comfortably. The Base trim has power windows, cloth upholstery, and a manually adjustable driver's seat. The Big Bend adds automatic climate control and a rear center armrest that folds down, and the Outer Banks has leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Technology features in the Bronco Sport include an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a six-speaker stereo. Satellite radio comes in the Big Bend, and adding the Convenience Package gets you wireless charging. The Outer Banks gains a 6.5-inch digital instrument panel and a household power outlet.
Safety Features
Every 2023 Ford Bronco Sport comes with the Co-Pilot360 suite of advanced driver aids. It includes a forward collision warning system, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, automatic high beam headlights, and a blind-spot monitoring system with rear cross-traffic alert. It also has electronic traction and stability control, hill start assist, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Convenience Package adds rear parking sensors. Step up to the Badlands for a forward-facing 180-degree camera system. Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist+ is optional for most trims, adding adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and evasive steering assist.
