Certified Pre-Owned Ford models meet a stringent set of requirements to achieve eligibility, including:

Five previous model years
Fewer than 80,000 miles
A 172-point inspection, with any part that doesn’t meet standards replaced or reconditioned

While CPO vehicles are also used, they’re generally newer with less mileage, and Ford CPO models, in particular, offer comprehensive limited warranty lasting for 12 months or 12,000 miles and powertrain limited warranty that expires after 7 years or 100,000 miles from the original in-service date.
