6 Safety Features of the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport

1. AdvanceTrac With Roll Stability Control

Enjoy superior handling and control on every adventure with standard AdvanceTrac with RSC. This advanced system monitors your steering wheel angle, acceleration, and more. If you start to skid or lose traction, the system can apply automatic braking to help you regain control.

2. Pre-Collision Assist

Even the most attentive driver can be caught off-guard by unexpected obstacles. Fortunately, the Bronco Sport is equipped with Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking.

If the driver in front of you suddenly hits the brakes or a pedestrian steps in front of your vehicle, you’ll receive an audible alert and a warning message on your LCD information display. The system can pre-charge your brakes to ensure a faster response when you press the brake pedal, and if necessary, the brakes will engage automatically.

3. Lane-Keeping System

The Lane-Keeping System uses a forward-facing camera to monitor lane markings and let you know when you cross them. Three different modes allow you to select the level of assistance you’re comfortable with.

Lane-Keeping Aid uses corrective steering to help keep you in your lane, while Lane-Keeping Alert provides haptic feedback when you drift across boundaries. You can activate one or both of these functions. If you repeatedly leave your lane while Driver Alert mode is activated, a warning message appears on your information display reminding you to take a break.

4. Blind Spot Information System

Thanks to the Blind Spot Information System on your Bronco Sport, you can change lanes with confidence. Sensors on either side of the vehicle detect vehicles in your blind spots and alert you with an indicator light on your side mirror. The same sensors are used in the Cross-Traffic Alert system, which can detect vehicles approaching from either side when you’re backing up. When a vehicle is detected, you will receive an audible and visual warning.

6. Adaptive Cruise Control

Available as part of the Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ package, Adaptive Cruise Control comes with many extra features to make highway driving safer and more convenient. The Stop-and-Go function adjusts your speed automatically if you hit slow-moving traffic, resuming your set speed when it’s possible to do so. Lane Centering keeps you on track, and Speed Sign Detection can adjust your chosen speed if the speed limit changes.
