The Well-Ordered Bed

Ford made smart use of the 54.4-inch long by 53.3-inch wide truck bed. The sides of the bed have horizontal and vertical slots. These slots easily fit 2×4 or 2×6 boards to create segmented storage spaces. Alternatively, you can leave the bed as an open space, or you can install a bike rack.

The multi-position tailgate locks horizontally for easy loading, vertically to keep your items secure, or half-closed to assist in securing longer loads. You’ll also have six standard tie-downs. These double as convenient bottle openers for your next tailgate party.

The Smart Interior Design

The Maverick’s interior is as well-organized as its bed. A door pocket designed to fit a 1.5-liter water bottle makes for a thoughtful touch. You’ll also have convenient rear under-seat storage perfect for safely storing your tools. This hidden storage space measures 2.6 cubic feet in the standard Maverick.
